The Opportunity
This is a permanent, office-based position for an experienced Mortgage Advisor to join a growing advisory team. The role involves working directly with clients to understand their financial circumstances, explain mortgage and protection options, and recommend appropriate solutions aligned to their needs and objectives.
You will manage cases from initial enquiry through to completion, liaise with lenders and third parties, and ensure that all advice and documentation meets regulatory and compliance standards. The position suits someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with a consultative, client-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client fact-finds and affordability assessments
- Provide clear, compliant advice on residential mortgage and protection products
- Research and source suitable lending options from a wide lender panel
- Manage applications and supporting documentation through to completion
- Maintain accurate client records in line with regulatory requirements
- Build strong relationships with clients, lenders, and internal stakeholders
- Deliver a consistently high standard of customer experience
Candidate Profile
- Holds CeMAP or an equivalent recognised mortgage qualification
- Solid understanding of mortgage products, lending criteria, and financial planning fundamentals
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information simply
- High attention to detail with a compliance-focused mindset
- Comfortable managing multiple cases and priorities
- Background in financial services or advisory environments preferred
