DevOps Engineer - HealthTech Scale-Up

Location: Dublin, Hybrid

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Company

We're partnering with an innovative healthtech scale-up that is transforming the way healthcare is delivered through cutting-edge digital platforms. With rapid growth and a mission-driven culture, they're now building out their DevOps function to ensure scalability, security, and reliability across their platform.

This is a great opportunity to join a high-impact team, working with modern cloud technologies to deliver meaningful solutions in healthcare.

The Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll join a team of 8-10 engineers, reporting into the Infrastructure Lead. This is a broad role, where no two days will look the same. You'll work across AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, supporting POCs, setting up new environments, and troubleshooting production issues.

You'll be hands-on with cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, and networking - ensuring the platform is secure, reliable, and ready to support rapid growth.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage infrastructure in AWS (EKS, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, S3, Lambda, Athena).
  • Deploy and troubleshoot services in Kubernetes clusters.
  • Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support faster, more reliable releases.
  • Work on POCs to test and implement new tools and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues across cloud, networking, and VPN.
  • Implement monitoring and automation to ensure platform resilience.
  • Collaborate with developers to support delivery of new features and projects.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience working in AWS Cloud environments (CloudWatch, CloudFormation, EKS, S3, Lambda, Athena).
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting services).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and secure connectivity (e.g., VPN).
  • Comfortable troubleshooting issues at system, network, and application level.
  • A hands-on, proactive engineer who enjoys problem-solving and driving improvements.
  • Ideally from a DevOps / infrastructure background, with strong SME-level expertise.
