PROFILE:

W Talent is proud to be supporting a market-leading engineering organisation in their search for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join their growing team based in Redditch.

The Role:

As a Engineering Project Manager, you'll take ownership of engineering projects from concept to completion driving performance, quality, and delivery. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects meet business goals, exceed stakeholder expectations, and comply with all industry and regulatory standards, all while achieving results on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead projects from concept to completion, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables.

* Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to meet key milestones.

* Manage budgets, track costs, and report on project performance.

* Oversee delivery to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

* Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align on requirements and expectations.

* Review technical designs to ensure compliance with engineering standards and CDM 2015 regulations.

* Identify risks, implement mitigation plans, and provide regular progress updates.

* Maintain clear documentation and encourage knowledge sharing across teams.

* Drive continuous improvement and best practice in all project activities.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

* Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 and all company Health & Safety policies.

* Promote safe working practices and a strong safety culture.

* Report any incidents, hazards, or near misses promptly.

* Support accident investigations and help drive continual safety improvements.

* Lead by example to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.

Key Requirements:

Experience:

* Significant engineering experience.

* Extensive experience in capital expenditure design, development, and implementation projects.

* Proven track record of managing at least three engineering projects under CDM 2015 regulations.

* Advanced project management software proficiency.

* Strong financial acumen with experience in budget preparation, cost control, and P&L management.

Skills:

* Excellent project planning and organisational skills.

* Strong leadership and communication abilities.

* Proficient in project management tools and software.

* Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

* Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
