W Talent are delighted to be partnering with a major multinational organisation with a strong presence across the UK and Europe. Due to the strategic evolution of their procurement function, they are expanding their team and looking to appoint a Procurement Support Manager to play a critical role in assisting the Category Managers and delivering operational excellence.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will support both Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for your category. As part of a collaborative team, you will provide vital support across the end-to-end procurement process, enabling senior procurement leaders to focus on higher-risk, higher-value initiatives.
This position would suit someone who has a foundation in Buying or analysis and is looking to develop their career within Procurement while still retaining a data and analytical foothold.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver low- to mid-level risk/value sourcing projects across multiple categories
- Support SRM activities, including the management of low to mid-risk/value suppliers
- Assist in strategic procurement initiatives including payment term reviews, spend analysis, and value control processes
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure process efficiency and commercial value
- Provide project support to Category Managers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a procurement, analyst or supplier management support role is ideal
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle data, prepare reports, and contribute to strategic reviews
- Educated to Degree Level is essential
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
