Logistics Administrator
W Talent is delighted to be partnering with a leading manufacturer of homecare and cleaning products based in Redditch. Supplying innovative, high-quality products to major UK retailers and international markets, our client is continuing to grow and is seeking a Logistics Administrator to join their Supply Chain & Logistics team.
Reporting to the Head of Logistics, you will coordinate day-to-day logistics activities across third-party warehouse and freight partners, ensuring shipments, documentation, and invoices are managed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track UK and international shipments.
- Book collections and manage freight movements via road, sea, and air.
- Prepare and check export and customs documentation.
- Monitor shipment progress and update SAP and internal systems.
- Review freight and warehouse invoices, investigating any discrepancies.
- Maintain Excel-based reports for logistics activity, costs, and performance.
- Liaise with carriers, warehouse partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous process improvements.
About You
- 2/3 years' experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain.
- Knowledge of international freight, customs processes, export documentation, and Incoterms.
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, filters, and pivot tables.
- Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
- Highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
