Ashley is Head of Fintech (US) at W Talent, leading the firm’s commercial hiring practice across B2B fintech companies. With over 10 years’ experience in recruitment and executive search - including more than 7 years specialising in fintech and 5+ years focused on the US market - Ashley partners with venture and PE-backed businesses from Series A through to publicly listed firms to build high-impact, revenue-generating teams.

His core focus is on placing senior commercial talent, from high-performing individual contributors through to C-suite leadership, across key fintech verticals including payments, embedded finance, lending and fintech infrastructure. Ashley has a strong track record of delivering transformational hires, including placing multiple CxOs into a publicly listed business that went on to triple its share price, and appointing a CEO who led a company to acquisition significantly ahead of schedule.

Having spent time living and working in New York, Ashley brings a deep understanding of the US fintech landscape and maintains close relationships with both clients and candidates across the market. He is passionate about helping scaling fintechs unlock growth through strategic hiring, combining specialist market knowledge with a highly consultative, results-driven approach.
