We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transmission Project Manager to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in managing transmission line projects and must be proficient with Primavera P6. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic team on innovative projects within the transmission engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee transmission line projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project and professional growth.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical reports, project plans, and construction documents related to transmission lines.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including civil, electrical, and environmental engineers, to ensure project success.
  • Client Interaction: Interface with clients to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during project execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control reviews of project deliverables to ensure the highest standards of project management are maintained.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project management processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of relevant experience in managing transmission line projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required. Experience with other project management software and tools is a plus.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred but not required.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and leading a team of engineers and technical staff.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
