We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transmission Line Engineering Manager to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have between 8 to 15 years of experience in the design, analysis, and project management of transmission line projects, as well as experience managing direct reports. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic team on innovative projects within the transmission engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Analysis: Perform detailed engineering design and analysis of transmission lines, including structural, electrical, and civil components.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project and professional growth.
  • Project Management: Oversee transmission line projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical reports, design specifications, and construction documents related to transmission lines.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including civil, electrical, and environmental engineers, to ensure project success.
  • Client Interaction: Interface with clients to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during project execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control reviews of project deliverables to ensure the highest standards of engineering are maintained.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve engineering solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8-15 years of relevant experience in transmission line design and engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and AutoCAD. Experience with GIS tools and software is a plus.
  • Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and leading a team of engineers and technical staff.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
