We are seeking a Project Manager to join our clients Power Delivery Project Management team. This position involves managing the contractual, technical, and financial aspects of power delivery projects, maintaining and developing client relationships, and marketing our power delivery services to existing and new clients within the region. The role is flexible, allowing for remote work with periodic travel to our offices for meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Promote company culture and effectively manage internal and external relationships.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Market power delivery services to new and existing clients in the region.
  • Travel locally to meet with regional clients as needed.

Project Management

  • Manage all aspects of power delivery projects, including status reporting, invoicing, accounts receivable, and unbilled services.
  • Collaborate regularly with project design teams, conducting status meetings to ensure project alignment.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to project team members.
  • Develop and regularly update project scopes of work, schedules, and budgets.
  • Interface with other divisions as necessary based on project requirements.

Technical and Financial Oversight

  • Demonstrate project management skills including scheduling, budget and cost analysis, team management, and client presentations.
  • Utilize financial analysis tools to manage project budgets within a utility setting.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet substation design principles and standards.

Qualifications:

Required Education/Experience

  • Professional Engineering (PE) registration or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience in small- to medium-scale project management or project lead engineering.
  • Proficiency with project management processes and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of substation design principles and substation project management.
  • Experience with financial analysis tools within the utility industry.

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Over 10 years of applicable industry experience.
  • Over 5 years of project management or project lead experience, particularly with Texas region projects.
  • Experience in substation design and management.
  • Familiarity with regional utilities within the respective region.
