W Talent are delighted to be supporting on an opportunity with a well-known Wolverhampton based manufacturer, who are currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant.
This position offers genuine prospects of progression and development, as evidenced by other members of an evolving Finance Team. Reporting into and working alongside the financial controller, the incumbent would be given a broad remit to seek involvement in various aspects of the Finance team and wider business, including exposure to:
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision making
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Manage and mentor a team of junior accountants
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes
This role is designed to provide significant exposure to various areas of the Business and build a suite of skills to equip the individual for progression to an enhanced Finance role. Opportunities will be provided to the incumbent, who will be encouraged to seek and implement improvements both within the Finance Team and throughout the wider business.

- Qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Effective communicator - both written and verbal

- Ability to manage workload and a team player
