What you'll be doing day to day:
- Own and lead procurement activity across Professional Services and Marketing, from strategy through to delivery.
- Support major global engineering and business projects through effective supplier and commercial management.
- Drive supplier performance by challenging on cost, service, lead times, and innovation, while ensuring quality and reliability.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, securing strong commercial outcomes and managing renewals to maximise long-term value.
- Deliver strategic projects, supporting leadership on cost reduction, process improvement, and longer-term planning.
- Manage the supply base, maintaining strong market intelligence and acting as Lead Buyer for your categories.
- Collaborate across the business, working closely with IT, Finance, HR, Engineering, Events, and Marketing teams to deliver successful outcomes.
This role would suit you if:
- You have proven procurement experience, ideally within Professional Services and/or Marketing categories.
- You possess strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- You are analytical, commercially aware, and confident working with data.
- You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoy working on high-profile projects.
- A CIPS qualification (or working towards one) would be advantageous, but is not essential.
