An exciting opportunity has become available for a FP&A Manager/Business to join a well-established but growing organisation who have successfully acquired a couple of other organisations and are therefore seeking to appoint a number of key finance positions.

I am looking for someone with a broad background in Financial Control, FP&A and Business Partnering. You will already be a FBP, FP&A Manager or Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Responsible for maintaining the finance function and overseeing all day-to-day finance operations as delivered by the Finance Team.
  • Provide strategic financial support to the Finance Director to facilitate wider decision making and business planning as required.
  • Manage the maintenance of the financial accounting system and accounting processes. Oversee preparation and analysis of month end management accounts, completion of monthly executive report packs.
  • Review the Management Accounts and balance sheets and investigate variances in conjunction with other members of the Senior Management Team.
  • Providing insightful performance monthly analysis to help the business achieve its commercial objectives. Manage the entire year-end process and take overall responsibility for balance sheet and reconciliations.
  • Review and oversee financial transactions and internal controls, cash flow forecasting and review of finance KPIs. Management and development of the Finance team.

Essential Qualifications & Training

  • Educated to degree level, with an accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA).
  • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft packages.

  • A strong focus and background in financial controls & processes.
  • Attention to detail, but with the ability to think strategically as needed.
  • Excellent communication, team building, and project management skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Experience of leading a team.
