They are hiring a Service Delivery Manager to join their property team to take responsibility for maintenance delivery through their national service provider. This is a field-based role (typically home working with one day per week in Milton Keynes)
About the Role
Our client are seeking an experienced facilities leader to own reactive and planned maintenance delivery across their national portfolio. You will be responsible for managing maintenance activities, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and compliantly.
The role provides leadership to their outsourced maintenance provider, supporting internal stakeholders and partners to keep sites safe, compliant and operationally efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across the national portfolio through partnership with the outsourced service provider.
- Ensure performanceacross both maintenance and compliance in line with SLAs.
- Plan and manage minor works projects from scoping to completion.
- Proactively manage the outsourced facilities and maintenance provider, including weekly office visits to ensure ongoing service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including support functions, branch partners and operational leaders.
- OPEX and CAPEX tracking, forecasting, reporting and analysis.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement (process improvements, cost efficiencies, service enhancements etc.).
- Use of data and insights to improve service delivery and reduce recurring issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, property and statutory maintenance requirements.
About You
- Proven experience in managing reactive & planned maintenance delivery across a high-volume portfolio.
- Relevant facilities and property experience across high-volume retail, high-street, or other comparable sectors.
- Experience managing external contractors, suppliers, KPIs and SLAs.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills - building strong relationships with operational leaders and branch partners within the business, as well as support functions.
- Budget management experience including delivery of value-for-money solutions.
- Knowledge of relevant compliance, health & safety requirements.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to sites around the UK as required.
