Security Solutions Engineer – German Speaker

Our client is a Swiss technology company specializing in cybersecurity, particularly in authentication and transaction security. With a strong focus on both security and usability, the company is driving innovation in seamless authentication solutions for digital services, online platforms, mobile applications, and IoT devices. While financial services and insurance remain key industries, their solutions are gaining traction across various other sectors. They operate internationally, offering cutting-edge authentication platforms that ensure both security and a smooth user experience.

This role is fully remote, based in either Switzerland or Germany, with occasional travel for customer interactions and internal team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of the company’s authentication platform, including backend APIs, mobile SDKs, web components, and security solutions.

• Collaborate closely with customers to support them in integrating authentication systems, ensuring smooth implementation tailored to their needs.

• Serve as a technical expert, providing guidance on best practices in security and architecture while troubleshooting integration challenges.

• Act as a key interface between internal engineering teams and external clients, helping bridge technical and business requirements.

• Work in a fast-moving environment, adapting to evolving customer needs, shifting priorities, and new cybersecurity challenges.

• Contribute to the company culture by bringing in a proactive mindset, knowledge-sharing, and engaging in a collaborative international team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, authentication protocols, and network security best practices.

• Comfortable working directly with customers to help integrate security solutions, both remotely and on-site when required.

• Fluent in English and German, additional language skills in French or Italian are a plus.

• Experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) or designing security-focused architectures and integrations.
