Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Equity Derivatives Sales professional to cover European asset managers from our Paris office. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, pitching, and executing equity derivative solutions across the full product spectrum, including flow, structured products, hedging strategies, and investment solutions.
This role requires deep market expertise, strong client relationships, and the ability to collaborate closely with trading, structuring, and research teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with European institutional clients, with a primary focus on asset managers, pension funds, and insurance companies.
Market equity derivatives products including: options, volatility and correlation products, delta-one solutions, structured notes, and customised strategies.
Identify client needs, generate trade ideas, and provide market color, investment themes, and risk management solutions.
Work closely with internal stakeholders (structurers, traders, research, legal, risk) to structure and execute transactions.
Deliver high-quality client service, ensuring timely follow-up and seamless execution.
Maintain strong awareness of market trends, regulatory developments (MiFID II, EMIR), and competitive dynamics.
Contribute to revenue growth and business development initiatives across the equity derivatives platform.
Support the onboarding of new clients and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
3–10+ years of experience in Equity Derivatives Sales or a closely related field (depending on seniority).
Strong technical understanding of equity markets, derivatives pricing, structured solutions, and risk management concepts.
Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with European asset managers.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, market-driven environment with strong attention to detail.
Fluency in English required; French highly preferred.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
