Our client is a new multi family office in Ticino, a strategic gateway between Switzerland and Italy, dedicated to offering personalized wealth management, investment advisory, and legacy planning services to high-net-worth families. We are seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to join our team, entrusted with fostering enduring client relationships and spearheading the growth of our Ticino office. This role calls for a seasoned professional with a strong background in client management, proven leadership skills, and an established network of single-family offices or affluent clients in Switzerland or Italy.


Key Responsibilities


  • Cultivate and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with high-net-worth clients and their families, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Analyze clients’ financial aspirations, risk profiles, and personal priorities to deliver bespoke wealth management solutions, working alongside internal specialists.
  • Supervise a small team of support staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery and alignment with the firm’s commitment to excellence.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities, tapping into a network of single-family offices or affluent individuals in Switzerland or Italy to expand our client base.
  • Collaborate with investment advisors, tax professionals, and legal experts to provide integrated, multidisciplinary advice tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Monitor client portfolios, offering regular updates and strategic recommendations to maximize performance and satisfaction.
  • Represent the firm at regional industry events, conferences, and client engagements to strengthen our presence across Ticino and neighboring markets.
  • Ensure full compliance with Swiss regulatory standards and internal policies, maintaining the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a related field, with a demonstrable network of single-family offices or high-net-worth clients in Switzerland or Italy.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a history of managing teams and thriving in client-centric roles.
  • Strong expertise in financial products, investment strategies, and estate planning, ideally with insight into the Swiss and Italian wealth landscapes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with discerning clients and manage intricate family dynamics.
  • Fluency in Italian (written and spoken) as a primary requirement; proficiency in English is essential, and additional languages (e.g., German or French) are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, handle competing priorities, and excel in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
  • A well-developed network of contacts within Switzerland or Italy’s affluent communities is a key advantage.
  • Professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CFP, or equivalent) are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are preferred.
