Position Overview

We are seeking an Application Security Specialist to join our client’s expert team. This role involves hands-on security testing of web and mobile applications, threat modeling, and providing technical guidance to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application security testing and experience with AI-enhanced security solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Perform AI-assisted web and mobile application security testing, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.
• Conduct application security threat modeling and provide proactive recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Offer technical assistance to customers, helping them improve security postures based on findings.
• Work with microservices security architectures, identifying potential weaknesses and security gaps.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance and refine security testing methodologies.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, OWASP standards, and application security trends.

Key Qualifications & Experience

• 2+ years of experience in application security testing, focusing on web and mobile platforms.
• Strong knowledge of iOS and/or Android security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
• Expertise in microservices security testing and API security best practices.
• Experience with AI-driven security tools and automated vulnerability detection techniques is a plus.
• Proficiency in mobile or web application development (JavaScript, Python, Swift, Kotlin, or similar).
• Familiarity with security frameworks and tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, and SAST/DAST solutions.
• Strong English proficiency.
