Our client is a medium-sized subsidiary, based in Rho, Italy, of a large multinational group headquartered in Switzerland. Responsibilities
- Supervise Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Lerdger Accounting
- Oversee customer billing in collaboration with the internal sales team
- Manage monthly IAS closures and annual financial statements for group consolidation
- Conduct quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and monthly intercompany reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with VAT and fiscal regulations in Italy and Switzerland
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual tax obligations with external consultants
- Support the Transfer Pricing consultant in preparing documentation
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance
- Supervise payroll processing with support from an external provider
- Act as the Local HR Operations Manager, ensuring compliance with labor laws
- Serve as the Local Privacy Coordinator for data protection compliance
- Lead and develop a small team of three finance professionals
- Drive internal process improvements and ensure ESG reporting compliance
Your Profile
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role within a small to medium-sized company, preferably a part of a big group
- Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP, IFRS, and IAS regulations
- Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and intercompany reconciliations
- Knowledge of Italian labor law and Payroll Management
- Familiar with local and international taxation frameworks, including VAT
- Proficient in Excel and SAP S/4HANA, knowledge of other accounting and reporting tools are an avantage
- Proven team management skills with the ability to lead and develop a small team
- Empathetic and diplomatic approach, able to build consensus and drive ideas forward smoothly
- Business-Fluency in English. Good knowledge of German or French would be an advantage
